Day 01 Arrival day. Welcome to Costa Rica!

Meet & greet at the international airport and ground transfer to a hotel near the area.

 

Day 02  Transfer to Arenal Volcano & La Fortuna (B) After a deserved breakfast you will be heading to a hotel near the Arenal Volcano area.

In the afternoon you will get ready to enjoy the Hot Springs with a wonderful dinner included. The thermal natural springs are 97% rain-based and 3% magma-based. Rainwater enters the earth through fissures on the surface and is then heated by magma found in the earth's core. Once heated, the waters rise to the surface, taking with them minerals found in the earth's rocky stratus.

 

Day 03 Arenal Volcano Area (B- L) Breakfast included at your Hotel. Ready for a great wet and exciting day of paddling at Rio Balsa which is ideal for those first-time whitewater rafters and those with some experience, as it is gentle enough for those inexperienced rafters but enough of a challenge to make it exciting. - Lunch will be included in the tour. In the afternoon you will be at your leisure to enjoy the hotel pools and facilities. 

 

Day 04 Transfer to Monteverde Cloud Forest (B) After breakfast, you will be picked up and ready to go to the highlands of Monteverde. Check-in at the hotel near the area. Hiking to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Consider it as the most well-known cloud forest in the world for its wide variety of biodiversity, important conservation contributions, and scientific research. Overnight at the chosen hotel.

 

Day 05 Monteverde Cloud Forest (B) Breakfast included at your Hotel. Morning transfer to Sky Adventure Park for the Sky Tram & Sky Trek Tour. The Sky Trek’s go from mountain to mountain, allowing you to fly through a cable at speeds up to 40 miles per hour and heights of over 328 feet.  Sky Tram guided tour that will lead you up to the Continental Divide and to one of the highest mountains in the area. Transfer back to the Hotel. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the hotel facilities or take an optional tour. Overnight at the chosen hotel. 

 

Day 06 Transfer to Guanacaste- Samara and Carrillo beach- (B) After breakfast transfer to Samara and Carrillo beach area. Lunch in a local restaurant.  Late check-in a the hotel. The afternoon of leisure. Enjoy the hotel facilities, the beach, and the sunset. 

 

Day 07  Guanacaste - Samara and Carrillo beach (B) After breakfast you can choose from having a day off or signing up for the optional tours of your preference such as surfing lessons, horseback riding, mangrove kayaking, offshore fishing, and more options.  These optional tours are not included in the tour package rate, so, you pay to the tour operator directly. We will arrange these tours and payments, the night before. Back to the hotel. Enjoy the hotel facilities. 

 

Day 08 Ground transfer to Alajuela (B) Check-in at Hotel near the airport.
